Russian FPV drones hit the vehicle of DTEK Dnipro Grids repair crew that was working at the line to restore electricity. Fortunately, no energy workers were harmed.

Everything happened on February 7 in one of the settlements near the line of contactwhich the enemy constantly attacksOn that very daythe crew was working at the power linedestroyed by the enemy strike the day beforeto restore electricity to the homes of local residents. 

At about 14:00, two FPV drones hit the vehicle of the DTEK Dnipro Grids field response crewThe second explosion set the car on fire and burnt it to the ground. 

Fortunatelyenergy workers were at a safe distance behind the vehicle at the momentThereforeall employees are safe and unharmed. 

Repair crews regularly suffer from enemy attacks during restoration activities in the areas close to the combat zoneSince the beginning of the full-scale warseven energy workers of DTEK Dnipro Grids have been wounded in the Dnipropetrovsk regionanother employee was killed during performance of his professional duties. 8 units of DTEK Dnipro Grids machinery have been destroyedIncluding cars and special machinerywithout which quick restoration of electricity in the front-line districts is impossible. 

Neverthelessenergy workers continue to work ‒ repair the grids and restore electricity to homes immediately after obtaining permission from the military and the SES.
