The enemy has once again attacked energy workers during repairs of the line in the Dnipropetrovsk region
In the morning of February 11, the enemy attacked a power facility in the frontline settlement. The attack caused serious damage to DTEK Dnipro Grids power line, leaving some homes without electricity.
After obtaining permission for work performance from the SES and the military, a repair crew went to the location to restore power supply for the residents as soon as possible.
The second attack occurred during work performance: two combat “Shaheds” hit the area where energy workers were working. Fortunately, no one was hurt. The employees managed to leave the danger zone in time and drive to safe distance. However, the shrapnel damaged two company’s vehicles.
This is not the first case of targeted attacks on the energy workers. Last week, on February 7, two FPV drones attacked another DTEK Dnipro Grids crew, burning the company’s car to the ground. It was a miracle that no one got hurt.
Despite constant strikes and the risk of repeated attacks, energy workers continue to go to the damaged facilities and repair the girds to restore electricity to people’s homes even in the frontline communities. Emergency crews commence repairs of the grid immediately after obtaining permission from the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.
