DTEK Grids DSO restored electricity to 106,700 homes in Donetsk, Dnipropetrovsk and Odesa regions over the course of the week
Last week, energy workers continued to eliminate consequences of enemy attacks on Ukrainian towns and villages. The majority – in the Donetsk region, which remains the region of the most active hostilities. Despite constant danger, energy workers here managed to restore power to homes of 83,400 families.
Dnipropetrovsk region also frequently suffers from enemy shelling that causes power outages for the families. From May 5 to 11, energy workers were able to restore electricity to 22,500 homes of local residents.
Over the past seven days, Odesa region suffered enemy attacks too. During this period, our specialists managed to restore electricity to 759 families of local residents.
“The enemy continues to attack our country. Energy workers continue to hold the energy front and eliminate consequences of shelling for 1,174 days now. Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, we have already restored electricity to 18.8 mln* families in Kyiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Odesa and Donetsk regions, and in the city of Kyiv. Some settlements close to the area of hostilities had electricity restored to them on dozens of occasions,” – noted Alina Bondarenko, CEO at DTEK Grids.
Energy workers of DTEK Grids are doing everything possible to eliminate damage as soon as possible. They commence work immediately after obtaining permission and access to the site of damage from the AFU and SES.
