NPC Ukrenergo has introduced stabilization power cutoffs in the Dnipropetrovsk region to avoid emergencies

Due to the damage, caused by rf’s shelling of energy infrastructure facilities, state power company NPC Ukrenergo introduces stabilization power cutoffs. They will be applied to reduce imbalance in the energy system and to avoid large-scale power outages.

As of 8:40 October 17, power supply has been limited in one district of Dnipro (residential area “Parus”), in Kryvyi Rih, part of Kamianske, Pavlohrad, Synelnykove, Nikopol, some settlements of former Tsarychanka, Verkhnodniprovsk, Petropavlovsk, Synelnykove, Mezhova, Shyroke, Nikopol, Sofiivka, Piatykhatky and Apostolove districts.

Temporary stabilization cutoffs will last until the load decreases and state power company stabilizes the energy system. We will inform about time of electricity supply resumption additionally via DTEK Dnipro Grids website and social networks pages.

In order to support the energy system we urge all residents of the Dnipropetrovsk region to minimize electricity consumption – not to switch on energy-consuming devices and reduce electricity consumption as much as possible in the morning from 8.00 to 11.00 and in the evening from 18.00 to 23.00. We ask business customers to limit usage of exterior lighting of facades of offices, restaurants, malls, etc.

These simple steps will help reduce the need for power cutoffs and the number of disconnected consumers. This is now the best support of energy workers, who are working 24/7 and are doing everything possible to ensure that everyone has electricity at home.

Take care of yourself and your family! We believe in Victory!
