Despite shelling, DTEK Donetsk Grids managed to restore power to more than 5,000 families

On November 18, DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists were able to conduct a number of repairs and restore power to residents of 6 settlements in the Donetsk region, de-energized due to shelling, thus restoring electricity to more than 5,000 families. Energy workers commence repairs once it becomes possible in order to support residents of the region in this difficult situation of constant hostilities.

Over the course of a day, DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists have completely or partially restored electricity to 6 settlements, affected by active and constant hostilities, thus restoring power to 5,059 families.

Donetsk region remains an arena of heavy and constant hostilities.

100 settlements remain without electricity, as specialists of the energy company do not have access to work there. Energy workers will definitely restore electricity to all residents of the region once they obtain a permit for work performance from the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists are working non-stop for 269 days in a row and are repairing equipment and lines, once it becomes possible.

Let us remind that the situation in the energy system remains difficult. Therefore, we urge all customers to support energy workers in their fight on the energy front. To do that, please consume electricity reasonably – switch on energy-consuming devices in turn and minimize electricity consumption from 06.00 to 11.00 in the morning and from 17.00 to 23.00 in the evening. We ask business customers to limit usage of exterior lighting of facades of offices, restaurants, malls.
