Despite shelling, DTEK Donetsk Grids has restored power to 20,000 families in the Donetsk region
Over the course of a day, DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists managed to completely or partially restore electricity to 3 settlements in the Donetsk region, thus restoring power to homes of 20,007 families.
According to the Ministry of Defense, offensive is underway in the directions of Bakhmut, Avdiivka and Novopavlivka. Artillery shelling, missile and air strikes continue.
94 settlements remain without electricity, as specialists of the energy company do not have access to work there. Energy workers will definitely restore electricity to all residents of the region once they obtain a permit for work performance from the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists are working non-stop for 260 days in a row and are repairing equipment and lines, once it becomes possible.
Let us remind that, in accordance with NPC Ukrenergo order there will be an emergency power cutoff in communities of Kramatorsk and Bakhmut districts today from 10:30 to 16:30. Residents of Sloviansk, Kramatorsk, Druzhkivka, Kostiantynivka, Toretsk and Mykolaivka communities will be temporarily left without electricity. The cutoff is required to conduct repairs on the transit equipment of NPC Ukrenergo that powers north of the Donetsk region.
In case of power outage, outside of the list of these communities, please inform DTEK Donetsk Grids. Our specialists will do everything possible to restore power supply.
