One of the DTEK Dnipro Grids subdivisions suffered damage due to the drone attack in the region

At about 5 a.m. on August 6, one of the DTEK Dnipro Grids subdivisions came under an enemy FPV drones attack in the Dnipropetrovsk region. As a result, the energy equipment caught fire. Fortunately, no employee of the company was injured.

SES units promptly arrived on site and eliminated the fire. After that, DTEK Dnipro Grids energy workers immediately commenced restoration activities. By the end of the day, the electricity supply was restored to 5 out of 23 settlements, de-energized due to the strike. Restoration activities are ongoing. 

Over the course of the day, DTEK Dnipro Grids specialists restored electricity to 7,030 families in 9 settlements of the Dnipropetrovsk region, affected by shelling. 

Energy workers continue to do their job despite threats and risks, providing stable power supply to the residents of the region and critical infrastructure facilities. They commence work immediately after obtaining permission from the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the State Emergency Service.
