Oleksii Reznikov presented state awards to 7 energy workers of DTEK Dnipro Grids
Emergency crews of energy workers restore electricity to residents of the Dnipropetrovsk region in the hottest spots in the south of the region. Almost every day, they restore energy infrastructure, damaged due to hostilities.
According to the Kryvyi Rih RMA, during his visit to the Dnipropetrovsk region on May 17, the Minister of Defense of Ukraine Oleksii Reznikov thanked workers of the rear and praised employees of various industries for providing comprehensive assistance during the armed aggression of rf against Ukraine, as well as for fruitful and patriotic cooperation with the AFU.
Among specialists awarded with honors of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, there are 7 representatives of DTEK Dnipro Grids: electrical fitters of cable and overhead lines, masters of emergency crews, and a dispatcher of the operational dispatch center, who are engaged in works related to restoration of lines and equipment after enemy shelling. They were awarded a medal “For Assistance to the Armed Forces of Ukraine” and a “Badge of honor”.
DTEK Dnipro Grids specialists restore electricity immediately after obtaining permission from the Armed Forces of Ukraine and State Emergency Service of Ukraine. Our goal is to provide towns and villages with electricity, required for normal life of region’s residents.
Since the beginning of a full-scale war, DTEK energy workers have restored electricity to a total of 940,000 households in the Dnipropetrovsk region (considering that some customers had electricity restored to them on 2 or more occasions).
DTEK Dnipro Grids specialists also help their colleagues restore power supply in Kyiv, Donetsk and Kherson regions.
