Over the course of six months, DTEK Grids DSO restored 240 power facilities, damaged during hostilities
Energy workers commence work immediately after obtaining permission and access to the site of damage from AFU and SES. From January to June 2026, DTEK Grids DSO crews restored operation of 1,487 power lines with a total length of almost 6,000 km.
Since the beginning of 2026, the conducted work made it possible to restore power supply to a total of 14.5 mln* families in the city of Kyiv, and in Kyiv, Odesa, Dnipropetrovsk, and Donetsk regions.
“Despite constant attacks on the energy infrastructure, our energy workers are restoring the damaged grids on a daily basis. Since the beginning of the year, DTEK Grids DSO restored operation of 83% of the power lines that suffered destruction due to russian attacks. The crews are making extra efforts to restore electricity to Ukrainian families and business as quickly as possible,” — noted DTEK Grids CEO Alina Bondarenko.
DTEK Grids DSO specialists are often working in extremely difficult conditions, in the frontline regions, restoring electricity after hostilities. However, the pace of grids repairs is impacted by safety of conducting such works by the employees and by the scale of electrical equipment damage.
Energy workers are doing everything possible to provide electricity to every home.
