Over the course of the week, DTEK Grids DSO restored electricity to more than 210,000 homes, de-energized by shelling
Last week, energy workers continued to eliminate the consequences of enemy strikes. The majority – in the Dnipropetrovsk region, where enemy attacks regularly damage the grids and leave residents of the region without electricity. From October 13 to 19, electricity here was restored to 180,000 homes of local residents.
At the same time, despite constant danger, electricity was restored to 30,000 homes in the Donetsk region, which continues to remain an area of the most active hostilities.
“The enemy continues to attack our country. And we continue to work despite danger and shelling for as long as 1,335 days now. Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, we have already restored electricity to 24 mln* families in Kyiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Odesa and Donetsk regions, and in the city of Kyiv. Some settlements close to the area of hostilities had electricity restored to them on dozens of occasions,” – noted Alina Bondarenko, CEO at DTEK Grids.
Energy workers of DTEK Grids are doing everything possible to eliminate damage as soon as possible. They commence work immediately after obtaining permission and access to the site of damage from the AFU and SES.
