Over the course of the week, DTEK Grids DSO restored electricity to more than 300 settlements, de-energized by the attacks

From June 8 to 14, energy workers of the DTEK Grids Distribution Systems Operators (DSO) were able to completely or partially restore power to the residents of 332 settlements, de-energized by enemy attacks, thus restoring electricity to almost 300,000 families* in the capital and in Dnipropetrovsk, Donetsk, Kyiv and Odesa regions. Specialists of the DTEK Grids DSO repair the grids immediately after obtaining permission from AFU and SES.

The majority – in the Dnipropetrovsk region, where specialists were able to restore power to 146,600 homes last week. The enemy is constantly attacking Dnipropetrovsk region, thus regularly damaging grids and leaving residents of the region without electricity.

Power supply in the capital has been restored to more than 105,000 homes of Kyivans. Last night, Kyiv once again suffered a massive missile-drone attack, which caused damage to the power line, one of the industrial sites and special machinery.

From June 8 to 14, energy workers in the Donetsk region managed to restore electricity to more than 33,000 homes of the region’s residents. The region remains the nexus of extremely difficult hostilities. Despite constant danger, energy workers continue to work and restore power supply.

Energy workers in the Kyiv region, in their turn, managed to restore electricity to homes of 8,600 families of local residents last week. During the same period, energy workers in the Odesa region managed to restore power to more than 1,800 homes that were also de-energized due to enemy attacks.

“The enemy continues to attack our country. We continue to work, despite danger and attacks, for as long as 1,573 days now. Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, we have already restored electricity to more than 46 mln* families in Kyiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Odesa and Donetsk regions, and in the city of Kyiv. We have restored electricity in some settlements close to the combat zone on dozens of occasions,” – noted Alina Bondarenko, CEO at DTEK Grids.

Energy workers of DTEK Grids DSO are doing everything possible to eliminate damage as soon as possible. They commence work immediately after obtaining permission and access to the site of damage from AFU and SES.
