Over the course of a day, DTEK Donetsk Grids has restored electricity to more than 2,000 families, de-energized due to shelling

Over the course of a day, DTEK Donetsk Grids emergency and repair crews were able to restore electricity to more than 2,000 families in the Donetsk region, whose homes were de-energized due to hostilities. Specialists of the energy company commence repairs immediately once the shelling subsides and the military provide a permit for work performance.

Heavy fighting is underway in the Donetsk region. Nevertheless, on March 21, DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists managed to repair a number of grids and equipment damage and restore electricity to homes of 2,341 families in the Donetsk region.

According to the Ministry of Defense, the enemy continues its offensive in Lyman, Bakhmut, Avdiivka and Marinka directions. In particular, 114 enemy attacks have been repelled in the eastern section of the front yesterday.

Due to constant hostilities, 109 settlements remain without electricity, as specialists of the energy company do not have access to work there. Energy workers will definitely restore electricity to all residents of the region once they obtain a permit for work performance from the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
