Partners helped energy workers of the capital improve power supply and prepare the city for the cold season
DTEK Kyiv Grids continues strengthening the electrical infrastructure of the capital and prepares it for the next heating season. In particular, thanks to the foreign partners’ humanitarian aid, 12 transformers of various voltage class and capacity were put into operation in the capital. They are already providing reliable power supply to the residents of parts of Sviatoshynskyi, Solomianskyi, Shevchenkivskyi, Desnianskyi and Podilskyi districts.
“We are truly grateful to our partners for the provided aid. It helped us improve reliability of two high-voltage substations and ten low-voltage transformer substations. Almost 73,000 households in Kyiv received a durable power source. This is especially important prior to the start of the cold season and to strengthen the energy sustainability of the city and country in the wartime conditions,” – noted Denys Bondar, CEO at DTEK Kyiv Grids.

Powerful new transformers improve grid capacity without the risk of overloading equipment. DTEK Kyiv Grids is doing everything to maintain the normal life of Ukrainians.
