Summary of the past week: energy workers restored electricity to almost half a million families after enemy attacks and bad weather
Enemy energy terror in the Odesa region has been ongoing for multiple weeks. The enemy is trying to leave Odesans and residents of the region without electricity, heat, water and communication. Despite multiple air raid alerts that sound every hour of every day, energy workers are restoring electricity to people’s homes. Over the past seven days, specialists restored power supply to homes of 451,900 families in 182 settlements of the region. Repairs commence only after obtaining permission from the military and the emergency service and are carried out based on the security situation.
Additionally, a cyclone raged in the Odesa region last week. Odesa district was affected the most. Over the course of two days, energy workers eliminated consequences of bad weather and restored electricity to 40,200 homes in 216 towns and villages.
Meanwhile, we remind that forced emergency power shutdowns are still in force in the Odesa region to prevent overload of the equipment damaged by December massive attacks. Unfortunately, they are still impossible to predict, split among all addresses and make a schedule.
Energy workers of DTEK Odesa Grids are working 24/7 to provide power supply to the homes of our customers despite any challenges. The light holds!
