DTEK Dnipro Grids paid over 1 billion UAH of taxes in 2023

DTEK Dnipro Grids is a reliable partner of country and society. Despite the war and reduction of distribution volumes over the past two years, the company consistently pays taxes to the state and local budgets. All tax deductions help meet the needs of the region and the country in financing, especially now. In 2023 alone, the overall amount of taxes, paid by the distribution system operator, is over 1 billion UAH.

Last year, DTEK Dnipro Grids transferred over 280 million hryvnas to the municipal budgets of Dnipro, Kryvyi Rih, Nikopol, Kamianske and other communities and paid almost 765 million UAH to the central one. The taxes paid to the local and state budgets are used to finance reconstruction of critical infrastructure facilities, schools and hospitals, construction of shelters and defense structures, as well as aid to the AFU and displaced people, in particular.

Over 1 billion UAH of taxes that we paid last year is our contribution to the country’s defense capabilities, support of economy and citizens, who are currently in need of state assistance. Despite the war and constant attacks with missiles, Shaheds and artillery, we are working, providing families with electricity, caring about stability of region’s power supply and its energy system. Additionally, the company continues to consistently invest in modernization of the energy infrastructure. This year alone, within the framework of the regulator-approved investment program, we plan to invest 1.1 billion UAH in the upgrade of grids in the Dnipropetrovsk region, improving quality and reliability of power supply,” – noted Andrii Tereshchuk, CEO at DTEK Dnipro Grids.

As previously reported, since the beginning of the full-scale rf’s invasion, DTEK Dnipro Grids specialists have repaired 550 damaged power facilities in the Dnipropetrovsk region. They restored operation of 2,300 kilometers of power lines of various voltage classes. Energy workers are doing everything possible to provide residents of the region with electricity.
