Over 1,500 SPPs: the number of new prosumers among customers of DTEK Kyiv Regional Grids has already exceeded last year’s

From January to August 2025, 1,570 customers of DTEK Kyiv Regional Grids became prosumers and connected their own Renewables, which is already 39 “green” customers more than over the entire last year. 

At the same time, 41 legal customers connected “green” and distributed power generation facilities since the beginning of 2025. Including 7 customers of other Renewables. In particular, cogeneration installations, gas-turbine and gas-piston installations, etc. 

“Today, every renewable energy facility plays a key role in strengthening the energy independence of Ukraine. Every produced kilowatt helps stabilize the system and makes the country more resilient to the challenges of war and to the energy crisis. DTEK Kyiv Regional Grids is doing everything possible to help integrate the facilities into the generic system. This cooperation provides everyone with an opportunity to not only consume, but also efficiently support the country’s energy system in the most difficult times,” – noted Vitalii Shaida, CEO at DTEK Kyiv Regional Grids. 

Since the start of its activities in the Kyiv region, Distribution System Operator DTEK Kyiv Regional Grids has already connected a total of 7,603 renewable energy facilities.
