Last year, DTEK Kyiv Regional Grids transferred over 136 million hryvnas to the local budget and paid more than 605 million UAH to the central one. The government uses taxes paid to the local and state budgets to finance restoration of houses, damaged by enemy attacks, security measures and social support, in particular.

741 million UAH of taxes that we paid last year is our contribution to the country’s defense capabilities, support of economy and citizens, who are currently in need of state assistance. Despite the war and constant missile strikes, we are working, providing families with electricity, caring about stability of city power supply and its energy system. Additionally, the company continues to consistently invest in modernization of the infrastructure of the Kyiv region. This year alone, within the framework of the regulator-approved investment program, we plan to invest 823 million UAH in the upgrade of the grids in the Kyiv region, improving quality and reliability of power supply,” – noted Vitalii Shaida, CEO at DTEK Kyiv Regional Grids.

As previously reported, since the beginning of the full-scale rf’s invasion, DTEK Kyiv Regional Grids specialists have repaired nearly 3,000 power facilities in the Kyiv region, damaged by enemy attacks. The company has restored operation of almost 10,000 kilometers of power lines of various voltage classes. Energy workers are doing everything possible to provide residents of the region with electricity.
