Despite shelling, DTEK Donetsk Grids restored electricity to more than 18,000 families over the course the day
On March 5, despite constant shelling of the region, DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists were able to completely or partially restore electricity to 5 settlements, thus restoring power to homes of 18,238 families in the Donetsk region.
Active hostilities are ongoing in the Donetsk region. According to the head of the region Vadym Filashkin, the enemy shelled settlements of the Donetsk region 10 times yesterday. In particular, Pokrovsk was hit by four missile strikes.
Constant shelling continues to damage the energy system of the region. Specialists of the energy company do not always have access to the work sites due to the security situation in the region. Energy workers will definitely restore electricity to all residents of the region once they obtain a permit for work performance from the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
