Intensification of shelling: DTEK energy workers restored electricity to 5,400 homes in the Dnipropetrovsk region over the course of the day

Thermal power generation11 February 2025
On February 10, DTEK Dnipro Grids emergency crews restored power to 5,400 families, whose homes were de-energized due to latest enemy attacks. Despite the threats, specialists continue to repair the grids upon permission of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and SES. Our goal is to provide towns and villages with electricity, required for normal life of region’s residents.

The invaders intensified attacks on the Dnipropetrovsk region, damaging energy infrastructure in particular. Settlements in the south and east of the region, adjacent to the area of hostilities, suffer the most.

DTEK emergency crews commence works immediately after obtaining permission for access to the site of damage from the AFU and the State Emergency Service of Ukraine. Yesterday, energy workers restored electricity to 5,405 homes, including one frontline town, where shelling damaged the overhead power lines.

As of the morning, another 4,000 homes remain without power supply. Our specialists are working to energize them as soon as possible.
