DTEK energy workers restored power to almost 6,000 families in the Dnipropetrovsk region over the course of a week

From January 8 to 14, DTEK energy workers have restored electricity to 6,000 families in the Dnipropetrovsk region that were left without power supply due to shelling. DTEK Dnipro Grids specialists repair lines and electrical equipment, destroyed by the enemy, immediately after obtaining permission from the AFU and SES. Our goal is to provide towns and villages with electricity, required for normal life of region’s residents.

Dnipropetrovsk region continues to suffer from russian shelling that, among other things, destroys electrical infrastructure of towns and villages. DTEK Dnipro Grids emergency crews are doing everything possible to repair damage as soon as possible. They commence work immediately after obtaining permission and access to the site of damage from the AFU and the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.

Over the course of the week, January 8 through 14, DTEK specialists have restored electricity to 5,913 families in the Dnipropetrovsk region that were de-energized due to hostilities. Currently, 280 homes in the south of the region remain without power supply. Energy workers are doing everything possible to energize them as soon as possible.
