DTEK Donetsk Grids restored electricity to 1,000 families in the Donetsk region

Yesterday, DTEK Donetsk Grids emergency and repair crews were able to repair a number of grids damages after shelling and restore power to 5 settlements of the frontline Donetsk region, thus restoring electricity to 1 thousand families. Specialists of the energy company are doing everything possible to restore electricity in the region once the shelling subsides and the military provide permission for work performance.

On April 8, despite constant shelling of the region, DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists, with the permission of the military, have completely or partially restored electricity to 5 settlements, thus restoring power to homes of 1,027families. 

The situation in the Donetsk region remains difficult due to active hostilities. Constant enemy shelling continues to destroy the energy system. Specialists of the energy company do not always have access to the work sites due to the security situation in the region. Energy workers will definitely restore electricity to all residents of the region once they obtain permission for work performance from the Armed Forces of Ukraine. 

DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists are working non-stop for 775 days in a row and repair equipment and lines once it becomes possible. Nearly 70 crews of the energy company are working daily on restorations in the region.
