On February 15, DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists were able to restore electricity to residents of 9 settlements in the Donetsk region, de-energized due to constant shelling of the region, thus restoring power to almost 6,000 families. Energy workers commence repairs immediately once it becomes possible and the military provide permission for work performance.

Yesterday, despite difficult situation in the region, DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists managed to completely or partially restore power to 9 settlements, thus restoring electricity to 5,839 families. 

Shelling of the Donetsk region continues. According to the head of the region Vadym Filashkin, the enemy shelled settlements of the Donetsk region 14 times over the course of the day. 

Constant shelling continues to damage the energy system of the region. Specialists of the energy company do not always have access to the work sites due to the security situation in the region. Energy workers will definitely restore electricity to all residents of the region once they obtain permission for work performance from the Armed Forces of Ukraine. 

DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists are working non-stop for 723 days in a row and repair equipment and lines once it becomes possible. Nearly 70 crews of the energy company are working daily on restorations in the region.
