DTEK Donetsk Grids restored electricity to 10,000 homes over the course of the day
Yesterday, DTEK Donetsk Grids emergency and repair crews were able to restore power to 46 settlements in the Donetsk region, thus restoring electricity to homes of 10,819 families.
According to the Donetsk RMA, shelling of the region continues. In particular, Pokrovsk suffered two missile strikes this morning. Lyman, Toretsk, Kostiantynivka and other communities of the region were shelled on multiple occasions.
Due to constant damage of grids and equipment by shelling, 139 settlements remain without electricity, as specialists of the energy company do not have access to work there. Energy workers will definitely restore electricity to all residents of the region once they obtain a permit for work performance from the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists are working non-stop for 597 days in a row and repair equipment and lines once it becomes possible. About 60 crews of the energy company are working daily on restorations in the region.
