DTEK Donetsk Grids restored electricity to almost 2,000 homes

On August 1, DTEK Donetsk Grids emergency and repair crews managed to restore electricity to residents of 2 settlements, de-energized due to constant shelling of the Donetsk region, thus restoring power to almost 2,000 families. Energy workers commence repairs immediately once the shelling subsides and the military provide permission for work performance.

Yesterday, DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists were able to repair a number of power facilities, damaged by enemy shelling, and restore power to 2 settlements of the Donetsk region, thus restoring electricity to homes of 1,867 families. 

The situation in the Donetsk region remains difficult. According to the National Police, over 2,700 cases of enemy shelling have been registered yesterday, including shelling of the residential area. 

Shelling continues to destroy grids and equipment. DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists are working non-stop for 891 days in a row and repair equipment and lines once it becomes possible. Nearly 70 crews of the energy company are working daily on restorations in the region. Energy workers will definitely restore electricity to all residents of the region once they obtain permission for work performance from the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
