What should you do in case of a power outage: DTEK Kyiv Regional Grids explains

Thermal power generation30 October 2025
In case of a power outage in your home, DTEK Kyiv Regional Grids specialists advise to follow several simple steps to find the cause and solve the issue.

If there is a power outage at our customers’ address, we primarily advise them to find the cause.

First, check if there is any information about emergency, stabilization or urgent shutdowns at your address. This can be done in the “No electricity?” section on the website of your Distribution System Operator (DSO) or in Viber or Telegram chatbots.

If there is no information about power shutdowns, please contact your housing cooperative, managing company or condominium association. They are the ones responsible for operability of the grids inside the building and can check if there are any accidents or malfunctions on the in-house grids.

If the in-house networks are ok, housing cooperative, managing company or condominium association must contact the DSO using the power outage request.

After that, DTEK Kyiv Regional Grids energy workers will check the equipment that supplies electricity to your house and eliminate an emergency, if required.

DTEK Kyiv Regional Grids continues to work on providing electricity to the residents of the region.
