The President and the Cabinet of Ministers honoured six energy workers of DTEK Grids DSO for their contribution to the sustainability of the Ukrainian energy system
Two employees of DTEK Grids were awarded orders of the President of Ukraine. The Order “Of Merit”, III degree was awarded to Andrii Savruk, electrical fitter of the Substations Repair and Operation Centre at DTEK Dnipro Grids, who has been participating in restoration of power facilities after the attacks in the Dnipropetrovsk region and in other regions of Ukraine since the beginning of the full-scale invasion. He worked in the frontline districts, took part in restoration of HPPs and substations of other energy companies.
“When you see light re-appearing after your work, you understand why we are doing all this,” – commented Andrii Savruk.
The Order “Of Merit”, III degree was awarded to Dmytro Kremenchutskyi, foreman at DTEK Donetsk Grids. During the war, he ensures the operation of power facilities in the Donetsk region and manages their repairs after enemy attacks.
Three employees of DTEK Grids DSO were awarded Honorary Certificates of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine. The awards were presented to Oleksandr Shevchuk from DTEK Dnipro Grids, who coordinated restoration of power supply after the large-scale attack on the energy infrastructure of Dnipro; Volodymyr Railian from DTEK Odesa Gris, who, together with his crew, restored high-voltage lines after enemy attacks in the Odesa region; and Yehor Zhyliaev from DTEK Donetsk Grids, who took part in restoration of the Donetsk region’s energy infrastructure near the frontline and suffered serious injuries in the airstrike during work performance.
“Despite all enemy efforts to plunge us into darkness, we restore electricity to people on a daily basis. This is a great responsibility to the people and country,” – noted Volodymyr Railian.
The Letter of Gratitude of the Odesa Regional Military Administration was presented to Mykola Bieloziorov, distribution grids foreman at DTEK Odesa Grids for conscientious work and dedication to the profession.
