Over the course of a day, DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists managed to restore electricity to homes of residents of one settlement, de-energized due to shelling in the Donetsk region, thus restoring power to 2,500 families. Energy workers commence restorations once it becomes possible in order to support residents of the region in the difficult situation of constant hostilities.

On January 30, DTEK Donetsk Grids emergency and repair crews, with the permission of the military, were able to repair a number of damages, thus restoring electricity to 2,573 families in the frontline region.

Heavy fighting is underway in the Donetsk region. According to the Ministry of Defense, yesterday the Defense Forces units have repelled enemy attacks near 11 settlements in the Donetsk region.

Due to hostilities, 99 settlements remain without electricity, as specialists of the energy company do not have access to work there. Energy workers will definitely restore electricity to all residents of the region once they obtain a permit for work performance from the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
