Electricity restored to 1,600 families: DTEK Donetsk Grids continues restoration activities in the Donetsk region

Over the course of a day, DTEK Donetsk Grids emergency and repair crews, with the permission of the military, have restored electricity to homes of residents of 10 settlements, de-energized due to shelling, thus restoring power to 1,600 families. Specialists of the energy company commence repairs immediately once the shelling subsides and the military provide a permit for work performance.

On January 24, DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists have repaired the grids and completely or partially restored electricity to 10 settlements in the Donetsk region, thus restoring power to 1,631 families.

Donetsk region remains an arena of active fighting. According to the Ministry of Defense, the enemy does not stop its offensive in Bakhmut, Avdiivka, Lyman and Novopavlivka directions.

96 settlements in the Donetsk region remain without electricity, as specialists of the energy company do not have access to work there. Energy workers will definitely restore electricity to all residents of the region once they obtain a permit for work performance from the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
