Donetsk region remains an arena of heavy fighting. Constant massive shelling continues to destroy the energy infrastructure of the region. In particular, another missile attack was launched on Sloviansk last night. Other settlements of the region suffer from hostilities as well. The hardest situation is in Bakhmut and Marinka, which, according to the Ministry of Defense, are the epicenter of hostilities.
Due to constant damage of grids and equipment by shelling, 124 settlements remain without electricity, as specialists of the energy company do not have access to work there. Energy workers will definitely restore electricity to all residents of the region once they obtain a permit for work performance from the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists are working non-stop for 419 days in a row and are repairing equipment and lines once it becomes possible.
