Electricity restored to more than 3,000 families: DTEK Donetsk Grids has restored power to 9 settlements

Over the course of a day, DTEK Donetsk Grids emergency and repair crews have restored electricity to 9 settlements in the Donetsk region, de-energized due to shelling, thus restoring power to more than 3,000 families. Energy workers are doing their best to promptly repair grids once it becomes possible.

On September 8, DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists have completely or partially restored power to 9 settlements, thus restoring electricity to 3,183 families in Kramatorsk, Pokrovsk and Volnovakha districts.

For instance, energy workers managed to restore power to more than 2,400 families in Marinka community in less than a day. Electricity was also restored to more than 400 families in Kostiantynivka and more than 200 families in Velyka Novosilka communities. Specialists of the energy company, with the permission of the military, also managed to conduct repairs in Toretsk community.

The situation in the region remains very difficult. According to the head of the region Pavlo Kyrylenko, Pokrovsk, Kramatorsk and Bakhmut districts were shelled last night. Bakhmut suffered the most damage.

Therefore, the most difficult directions remain Avdiivka, Marinka, Toretsk, Bakhmut and Sloviansk. 87 settlements of the region remain without electricity. Energy workers will definitely restore electricity to all residents of the region once they obtain a permit for work performance from the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
