Electricity restored to more than 4,000 households: DTEK Donetsk Grids continues to repair the grids

Over the course of a day, DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists were able to restore power to 6 settlements, de-energized due to shelling, thus restoring electricity to more than 4,000 households. Specialists of the energy company are doing their best to restore electricity as soon as possible and help residents of the region in this difficult situation of constant hostilities.

Electricity restored to more than 4,000 households: DTEK Donetsk Grids continues to repair the grids

On September 29, DTEK Donetsk Grids emergency and repair crews managed to completely or partially restore service to 6 settlements in Bakhmut, Kramatorsk, Volnovakha and Pokrovsk districts of the Donetsk region, thus restoring electricity to 4,235 households.

Yesterday energy workers were able to perform repairs in Bakhmut community and restore power to 2,700 households. Let us remind that Bakhmut community is constantly suffering from massive shelling. According to the head of Donetsk region Pavlo Kyrylenko, Bakhmut direction remains one of the hardest.

Specialists of the energy company, with the permission of the military, also managed to restore electricity to more than 600 households in Avdiivka community, almost 400 households in Velyka Novosilka community and almost 300 households in Toretsk community. Additionally, repairs were carried out in Sloviansk and Marinka communities.

Hostilities are underway in the Donetsk region. 82 settlements remain without electricity due to massive shelling and lack of access. The most difficult directions are Avdiivka, Bakhmut, Toretsk and Marinka. Energy workers will definitely restore electricity to all residents of the region once they obtain a permit for work performance from the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
