Electricity restored to more than 19,000 households: DTEK Donetsk Grids continues to restore grids after shelling
On April 19, DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists were able to access a number of grids and equipment damage, and repair it, thus restoring power to residents of 7 settlements in the frontline Donetsk region. That is 19,431 households.
The situation in the Donetsk region remains difficult. According to the Ministry of Defense, the enemy continues to push in Shakhtarsk, Lyman, Bakhmut, Avdiivka and Marinka directions. The most difficult situation is in Bakhmut and Marinka.
Due to damage of grids and equipment, caused by constant shelling, 111 settlements remain without electricity, as specialists of the energy company do not have access to work there. Energy workers will definitely restore electricity to all residents of the region once they obtain a permit for work performance from the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists are working non-stop for 421 days in a row and are repairing equipment and lines once it becomes possible.
