Light despite shelling: DTEK Dnipro Grids energy workers restored power supply to 10,500 homes in the region

On June 12, DTEK Dnipro Grids specialists managed to restore power to 10,500 families in two districts of the region that were attacked by the enemy the day before. Despite the threats, specialists continue to repair the grids upon permission of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and SES. Our goal is to provide towns and villages with electricity, required for normal life of region’s residents.

Dnipropetrovsk region continues to suffer from constant enemy attacks that destroy peaceful towns and villages. Emergency and repair crews repair damaged lines and equipment and are doing everything possible to restore electricity in the region once it becomes possible and the military provide permission for work performance.

Yesterday, DTEK Dnipro Grids specialists restored power to 10,531 families in two districts of the Dnipropetrovsk region, whose homes were de-energized due to russian shelling. The works were carried out immediately after obtaining permission from the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the SES in compliance with all security measures.

Due to the shelling, over 1,000 homes remain without power supply. Despite constant threats, energy workers are doing everything possible to restore electricity to the affected districts as soon as possible.
