Light despite shelling: DTEK Dnipro Grids energy workers restored power supply to 664,000 families in November
Energy workers in the Dnipropetrovsk region continue restoring electricity after enemy strikes. In November, DTEK Dnipro Grids specialists restored power to 664,458 families, whose homes were de-energized due to the attacks. Last week alone, electricity was restored to more than 118,000 homes.
“Despite almost daily attacks on power facilities, our specialists keep holding the energy front. We are doing everything possible to provide people and critical infrastructure with electricity even in the conditions of constant attacks. Since the beginning of the full-scale war, we have already restored power supply to more than 6.4* mln households in the Dnipropetrovsk region and we keep working to bring the light back to the homes,” ‒ noted DTEK Dnipro Grids CEO Andrii Tereshchuk.
Work in the frontline districts is complicated due to constant threat of repeated attacks and limited access to the sites of damage. Nevertheless, energy workers are doing everything possible to eliminate damage as soon as possible. They commence work immediately after obtaining permission and access to the site from the AFU and the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.
In case of a power outage, please inform DTEK Dnipro Grids via official channels: website, social media, Viber and Telegram chatbots.
We are working 24/7 to ensure a reliable power supply of houses and enterprises.
*Considering that some customers in the frontline districts had electricity restored to them on dozens of occasions.
