Light despite shelling: DTEK Dnipro Grids restored power to 73,000 families over the course of the week

From July 21 to 27, energy workers restored electricity to 73,000 homes of the Dnipropetrovsk region residents, who were left without power due to enemy attacks. Once the security situation allows, energy workers commence repairs – restore damaged lines and equipment. Our goal is to provide stable power supply for the normal life of the region’s residents.
Light despite shelling: DTEK Dnipro Grids restored power to 73,000 families over the course of the week

The Dnipropetrovsk region continues to suffer from russian strikes that cause damage to the grids and power outages. Last week, DTEK Dnipro Grids specialists restored power to 73,318 homes, de-energized due to the shelling.

“Last night, during one of the attacks, the enemy has completely de-energized as many as 96 frontline settlements in the east of the region. Our specialists worked until morning. At 2:38 a.m., they managed to energize half of the de-energized facilities, and at about 9 a.m., electricity was restored to all residents of the affected district. Despite the danger, we continue to provide residents of the Dnipropetrovsk region with electricity and restore power supply in the conditions of constant shelling,” commented DTEK Dnipro Grids CEO Andrii Tereshchuk.

Energy workers carry out all works upon approval of the SES and the military.
