Light despite shelling: energy workers restored electricity to 11,400 families yesterday

Despite constant hostilities in the Donetsk region, DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists were able to restore power to 5 settlements, de-energized by enemy attacks, thus restoring power to 11,400 families of local residents yesterday. Specialists of the energy company are doing everything possible to restore power supply in the region once it becomes possible and the military provides permission for work performance.

The fiercest battles are ongoing in the Donetsk region. Nevertheless, DTEK Donetsk Grids emergency crews managed to conduct repairs in 5 settlements of the region yesterday, thus restoring power to 11,399 families, whose homes were de-energized due to the shelling. 

DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists have been working non-stop for 1,253 days in a row and continue restorations once the situation and the military permit. Energy workers will definitely restore electricity to all residents of the region once they obtain permission for work performance from the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
