Three signs of the DTEK Dnipro Grids representative

In order to ensure accurate metering of electricity consumption, DTEK Dnipro Grids specialists need to occasionally visit their customers, who have meters installed in their homes. During such visits, employees can take reference readings, replace old meters with the new “smart” ones, etc. DTEK Dnipro Grids prepared a guide on how to identify energy company’s representative at your door.
Three signs of the DTEK Dnipro Grids representative

When an electricity meter is located on the consumers territory, our specialists have to disturb you to conduct required activities in order to ensure accurate electricity metering. However, we understand that visits of strangers, especially in the conditions of martial law, may arouse suspicion and mistrust.

For your convenience and safety, we are doing everything necessary for you to always be able to make sure that it is a DTEK Dnipro Grids representative in front of you:

  • We notify about specialists visit by means of a telephone call, SMS or announcement in the building. The exception is made for controllers, who register meter readings at least once in half a year for accurate calculation of the electricity consumption volume.
  • The specialist may not wear overalls. However, he must have official DTEK Dnipro Grids documents with him ID card, pass or badge.
  • The most important is that our employees do not offer any services and do not take cash at their workplace. Any payments for paid services are carried out only prior to the specialist’s visit via bank accounts.

If a person wearing DTEK overalls or having an ID is asking money call the police.
