Schedules of stabilization shutdowns in Kyiv will be updated for even load on the energy system

DTEK Kyiv Grids will update schedules of stabilization shutdowns upon request of the state company NPC Ukrenergo. The updated schedule will be shifted 1 hour ahead. It will come into force at 00:00 on July 27, 2024, in accordance with the command for stabilization shutdowns.
Schedules of stabilization shutdowns in Kyiv will be updated for even load on the energy system

Only the time period of shutdowns application will change in the updated schedules for each of 6 groups. For example, if your group used to be disconnected at 9:00, now it will be disconnected at 10:00. This is done at the request of NPC Ukrenergo for time periods of stabilization shutdowns in Kyiv and in the region to differ by 1 hour. This is required for the load on the energy system not to grow sharply upon restoration of electricity.

New schedules will be available from 00:00 July 27 in our chatbot

in Viber (https://chats.viber.com/dtekkyivskielectromerezhi

and Telegram (https://t.me/DTEKKyivskielectromerezhibot),

or on the DTEK Kyiv Grids website (https://www.dtek-kem.com.ua/ua/shutdowns).

Be sure to check it to find out the new time period for possible shutdowns at your address.

The schedules still have 6 groups, and still consist of 3 zones:

  • Electricity is present. Periods, when we guarantee availability of electricity. White color on the schedule;
  • Electricity is absent. Periods, when shutdown will definitely take place in order to balance the energy system. Grey color on the schedule;
  • Possible shutdowns. Periods, when shutdown may be applied, if imbalance in the energy system increases. We recommend reducing electricity consumption and avoiding using elevators during these periods. Light grey color on the schedule;

In case of application of schedules, it is important to remember. When electricity is restored after a shutdown, electrical appliances are to be switched on in turn. This will help avoid emergencies due to overload of the grids and maintain electricity in your and neighboring houses.

Energy workers throughout the country work 24/7 to restore the energy system as soon as possible and restore electricity to homes of Ukrainians.
