In February, energy workers of the DTEK Kyiv Regional Grids restored electricity to almost 3,000 homes in the Kyiv region. This became possible due to the coordinated work of emergency crews that were promptly repairing lines and equipment, damaged by the attacks. Our goal is to provide towns and villages with electricity, required for normal life of the region’s residents.

The enemy continues to systematically attack civil and power facilities in the Kyiv region. The overhead power lines suffer the most damage due to falling of shell or drone fragments. Nevertheless, energy workers were able to restore power to 2,805 families. Last week alone, electricity has been restored to 900 homes in the region. Additionally, in late February, fragments of the downed enemy drone damaged protective fencing of the high-voltage substation in one of the districts of the region.

Since the beginning of the full-scale war, energy workers of the DTEK Kyiv Regional Grids restored power to more than 1.5 mln households in the Kyiv region*.
