DTEK Donetsk Grids was able to restore electricity to more than 40,000 homes yesterday

Yesterday, DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists managed to restore electricity to 9 settlements, thus restoring power to more than 40,000 homes. Energy workers commence repairs immediately once it becomes possible and the military provide permission for work performance.

Donetsk region continues to suffer from constant attacks. Emergency and repair crews continue to repair power lines and equipment and are doing everything possible to restore electricity in the region once it becomes possible and the military provide permission for work performance.  

In particular, DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists were able to completely or partially restore electricity to 9 settlements in the frontline region, thus restoring access to electricity for 40,103 homes yesterday. 

The situation in the Donetsk region still remains very difficult due to constant enemy attacks and shelling. Energy workers continue to work and will definitely restore electricity to all residents of the region once they obtain permission for work performance from the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
