For the business*, consuming over 50,000 kWh per month, new requirements of the state regulator NEURC** will come into force on January 1, 2026. Failure of the business to ensure the automatic process of hourly data submission will result in application of the incentive coefficients that may increase electricity costs by up to 21%. To provide customers with an opportunity to prepare for the new requirements, DTEK Dnipro Grids offers a comprehensive service for automation of the commercial electricity metering system.

In accordance with the new requirements of the state regulator, if you failed to ensure the automatic process of hourly data submission, your additional electricity costs may amount to nearly 100,000 hryvnias per month provided the consumption was about 50,000 kWh.

To help business avoid such expenditures and comply with the legislation***, DTEK Dnipro Grids prepared a comprehensive service for automation of the commercial electricity metering system. It includes all required components: the smart meter itself, works related to replacement of the old meter, the controller, sealing, parametrization, connection of an automatic data readout. You can find more information about the comprehensive service and place a request via the link on the company’s website.

To place a request, please:

  • Go to the personal user account via the link
  • Enter your account number and select the ЕІС code (meter number)
  • Select “Comprehensive Service”
  • Sign up or sign in
  • Place a request, stating the following in the comments: “for transferring to group A”
  • Follow the link to fill in the data, required to conclude an agreement on automatic data readout
  • Pay for the service

The smart meter helps the owner to monitor and control the actual level of electricity consumption, submit correct forecast of consumed kWh to the electricity supplier, thus allowing efficient control of load in the peak hours.

*group “A” consumers (volume of consumption over 50,000 kWh per month or connected capacity over 150 kW)

** National commission that carries out state regulation in the areas of energy industry and public utility services
***Inaccordance with NEURC resolution No. 1104 dated 22.07.2025 and changes that will come into force from 1.01.2026 in the Temporary Procedure for the Volumes of Electricity Purchase for group “A”consumers.
