Eliminating consequences of bad weather in the Kyiv region: energy workers of DTEK Kyiv Regional Grids have already restored electricity to more than 81,000 customers

Rain, sometimes storm, caused falling of trees and dry branches on the power lines and its rupture. Energy workers are working round-the-clock to restore electricity to homes of residents of the Kyiv region as soon as possible.

As of 9:00, 9 lines and 316 transformer substations remain de-energized. Additionally, our specialists are registering and repairing broken 0.4 kV lines and handle individual customer requests. We plan to complete restoration activities by the end of the day, providing the weather does not cause new emergencies in the grids. On May 27–31, weather forecasters predict unstable weather with various intensity of rain and wind bursts up to 12 m/s.

Reminder: adverse weather conditions may cause fallen trees and broken wires. Be careful, do not neglect the safety rules and do not approach the power lines.
