DTEK Donetsk Grids restored electricity to 4 settlements in the Donetsk region over the course of the day

On August 6, despite the ongoing shelling, DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists have completely or partially restored power to 4 settlements, de-energized by shelling, thus restoring electricity to homes of 3,914 families. 

Heavy fighting is ongoing in the Donetsk region. According to the National Police, law enforcement officers registered over 2,800 cases of enemy strikes yesterday both along the frontline and on the residential area. The enemy brought down fire on 12 settlements of the Donetsk region. 

Shelling of the Donetsk region is ongoing and continues to destroy grids and equipment. DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists are working non-stop for 896 days in a row and repair equipment and lines once it becomes possible. Nearly 70 crews of the energy company are working daily on restorations in the region. Energy workers will definitely restore electricity to all residents of the region once they obtain permission for work performance from the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
