Partial temporary power cutoffs may occur in the Dnipropetrovsk region to avoid emergencies

Thermal power generation18 October 2022
Due to destruction of the energy infrastructure, partial temporary power cutoffs may occur in the Dnipropetrovsk region.

As of October 18, there is high possibility that these cutoffs will take place during peak electricity consumption hours – in the evening from 18.00 to 23.00. Due to complexity of the infrastructure damage, these cutoffs may last over 4 hours. The exact duration of cutoffs will depend on condition of the energy system.

In order to support the energy system we urge all residents of the Dnipropetrovsk region to consume electricity reasonably – switch on energy-consuming devices by turns and minimize electricity consumption in the evening from 18.00 to 23.00.

We ask business customers to limit usage of exterior lighting of facades of offices, restaurants, malls, etc.

These simple steps will help reduce the need for power cutoffs and disconnected houses. This is now the best support of energy workers, who are working 24/7 and are doing everything possible to ensure that everyone has electricity at home.

Take care of yourself and your family! We believe in Victory!
