DTEK Donetsk Grids has restored power to more than 4,000 families over the course of a day

On November 7, DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists were able to restore power to 22 settlements, de-energized due to shelling, thus restoring electricity to more than 4,000 families in the Donetsk region. Energy workers are doing everything possible to restore electricity to homes of residents of the Donetsk region once the shelling subsides and the military permit.

Over the course of a day, DTEK Donetsk Grids emergency and repair crews managed to completely or partially restore electricity to 22 settlements in the Donetsk region, thus restoring power to 4,213 families.

Fighting is underway in the Donetsk region. Constant shelling continues to destroy electrical infrastructure.

78 settlements remain without electricity, as specialists of the energy company do not have access to work there. Energy workers will definitely restore electricity to all residents of the region once they obtain a permit for work performance from the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists are working non-stop for 258 days in a row and are repairing equipment and lines once it becomes possible.

The situation in the energy system remains difficult. Therefore, NPC Ukrenergo had to introduce stabilization power cutoffs in the Donetsk region again today. A tentative schedule of cutoffs is available on our website.

In order to reduce duration and number of cutoffs, please consume electricity reasonably – switch on energy-consuming devices in turn and minimize electricity consumption from 06.00 to 11.00 in the morning and from 17.00 to 23.00 in the evening. We ask business customers to limit usage of exterior lighting of facades of offices, restaurants, malls.
