Electricity is restored to another 1,000 families in the liberated areas of the Kyiv region: DTEK continues repairing grids, damaged due to hostilities
On May 4, DTEK electricians have completely restored power to Nivetske village and partially restored power to Zhereva village in the Vyshhorod district. They have connected all consumers in Vorzel, Lubianka, Torfiane and Pochepyn of the Bucha district. Energy workers are already processing specific customer requests and restoring constant power circuits in these settlements.
Additionally, electricity was partially restored and works are ongoing in Hostomel, Irpin, Bucha, Romanivka, Dmytrivka, Myrcha and Zahaltsi.
Overall, electricity was restored to 1,016 families yesterday.
13,800 households in 22 settlements remain without electricity.
On May 5, DTEK energy workers continue performing electricity restoration activities in 14 settlements of Bucha and Vyshhorod districts, including as per requests of consumers, who returned to their homes in the liberated areas.
Energy workers of all DTEK Grids Distribution System Operators rallied to restore everything that was destroyed by the invaders. DTEK energy workers from Odessa and Dnipropetrovsk regions, as well as the city of Kyiv are helping to restore damaged grids in the Kyiv region. Electricians start their work immediately after mine clearance of these territories by the Ukrainian military and after provision of a permit by the Armed Forces of Ukraine, required to access damaged sites.
Emergency crews of energy workers are working non-stop for 70 days in a row in order to promptly restore power to settlements in Kyiv region, affected by hostilities.
