DTEK Donetsk Grids managed to restore electricity to homes of more than 32,000 families over the course of 2 days
On January 25-26, DTEK Donetsk Grids emergency and repair crews have repaired grids and equipment and completely or partially restored electricity to 18 settlements, de-energized due to shelling, thus restoring power to 32,380 families.
Hostilities are underway. Artillery shelling, missile and air strikes continue in the Donetsk region. According to the head of the region Pavlo Kyrylenko, the situation in the region has escalated a lot. The hottest direction was and is Bakhmut. However, escalation is happening along the entire frontline.
Due to constant shelling, 99 settlements in the Donetsk region remain without electricity, as specialists of the energy company do not have access to work there. Energy workers will definitely restore electricity to all residents of the region once they obtain a permit for work performance from the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
