DTEK Donetsk Grids managed to restore power to more than 195,000 families in March

Despite active hostilities that were ongoing in the region last month, DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists, with the permission of the military, managed to conduct a number of repairs and restore power to residents of 192 settlements* in March, thus restoring electricity to more than 195,000 families in the Donetsk region. Energy workers are doing everything possible to restore power supply in the frontline region once it becomes possible and the military provide a permit for work performance. Since February 24 last year, energy workers restored electricity to a running total of 7.2 mln families.

In particular, last week alone specialists of the energy company have restored electricity to more than 46,000 families in 69 settlements of the Donetsk region.

The situation in the Donetsk region remains very difficult. Shelling constantly damages the energy system of the region. Energy workers will definitely restore electricity to all residents of the region once they obtain permission for work performance from the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
