In June, DTEK Donetsk Grids managed to restore power supply to 268,500 homes after shelling

Despite constant danger due to the large-scale hostilities in the Donetsk region, DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists managed to access a number of sites of energy equipment damage, repair it and restore power to residents of 57 settlements* last month, thus restoring electricity to 268,500 homes. Energy workers are doing everything possible to restore power supply in the frontline region once it becomes possible and the military provide permission for work performance. Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, energy workers restored electricity to a cumulative total of 10.7 mln families*.

In June, the enemy continued to mercilessly shell Donetsk region and attack it with drone, missile and air strikes. Despite all difficulties and constant danger, DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists managed to restore power to 57 settlements, thus restoring electricity to homes of 268,522 families. 

Restoring electricity in the Donetsk region becomes more and more difficult. Nevertheless, energy workers continue to work despite everything. In particular, last week alone specialists of the energy company restored electricity to 19,600 homes in the frontline region. 

Specialists of the energy company continue to repair grids and equipment and will definitely restore electricity to all residents of the region once they obtain permission for work performance from the Armed Forces of Ukraine. However, working in the Donetsk region becomes more and more dangerous. Despite all security measures, energy workers once again came under fire during performance of restoration activities last month.
