DTEK Dnipro Grids restored electricity to 3,600 families over the course of the day

On March 9, DTEK Dnipro Grids specialists were able to conduct a number of grids and equipment repairs after shelling in the Dnipropetrovsk region, thus restoring electricity to 3,600 homes. Despite the threats, specialists continue to repair the grids upon permission of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and SES. Our goal is to provide towns and villages with electricity, required for normal life of region’s residents.

Dnipropetrovsk region continues to suffer from enemy shelling that regularly damages grids and leaves residents of the region without electricity. DTEK Dnipro Grids emergency crews repair lines and equipment, damaged by the enemy, and are doing everything possible to restore electricity as soon as possible. The works are conducted immediately after obtaining a permit for repairs from SES and AFU. 

Over the course of the day, DTEK energy workers managed to restore operation of the grids for 3,598 families in the south of the region, whose homes have been de-energized due to hostilities. 

Energy workers are still working on restoration of electricity to 84 homes of local residents and make every effort to perform repairs as soon as possible.
